Empowering women has long been a focus for developing community. Today, entrepreneurship is essentially an important factor for women development and prosperity. Since, modern business operates in a very competitive and complex environment. Therefore, they need to be at the forefront of technology always. But many of these businesses lack access to latest tech, resources and skills for success. In fact, they need expert guidance and latest tools to achieve operational excellence ensuring high performance and growth.

This initiative is so much more than entrepreneurship or even business. As empowering a woman in business means that she will gain financial stability. Consequently, help address many social problems like inequality and illiteracy. We also believe empowering a women means empowering the future generation.
WeCT is willing to work in partnership with relevant institutions, community organizations and other agencies to help women entrepreneurship development. Further, we target to help women with disabilities and HIV/AIDS even more. Our strategy is to provide a flexible and innovative response to promote women’s entrepreneurship based on local needs and circumstances.

The WeCT’s Women Entrepreneurship Development programme is part of our Small Business Digital Transformation initiative. We work to enhance economic opportunities for women by carrying out affirmative actions in support of women entrepreneurs. In particular, by enabling women start, formalise and grow their online business. Also, notably by mainstreaming gender equality issues into the WeCT’s work in enterprise development.
